I was browsing the web on firefox yesterday, when I got a notice that firefox had an update ready, so I agreed to update it to version 2.0.0.7. After I did this, it re-opened Firefox with all my tabs from before... however they all had "Could not connect to server" erros. I tried a few more common websites like google and wikipedia and none of them worked.
The weird thing is, that IE7 works perfectly fine. I downloaded Opera just to see if it was just Firefox or if it was something bigger. Opera didn't work either. I figured that windows firewall was probably blocking the 2 programs because one was new and one had just been updated, however even after disabling the firewall IE7 remained the only working browser. I need my Firefox back, I'm so sick of IE7 already.
Only Browser That Works is Internet Explorer 7?
Well, that's why IE7 is the better browser - it just works.
I downloaded IE7 Pro. It's an extension, and give a big pack of feature not already included with IE7. It works great, and makes IE7 great to use. All pro users who use IE7, have it. It's also free of course : http://ie7pro.com/
Also, IE7 is more secure, because Microsoft put a whole lot of work into making it more secure than ever. Firefox is only 'secure' by the fact that it's still relatively new, and hackers/crackers haven't concentrated on that sector of the market yet. But it won't be long.
Firefox, by no means, contains as many security features as IE7 does. News sites have cited this fact.
