Have you tried deleting cookies and temporary internet files?
On the browser menu,
Tools > Internet Options > General Tab (Delete Cookies, Delete Files, Clear History).

If you have DSL, you'll need to wait until all the lights of you DSL modem to lit up. Try this it might help: On the Internet explorer, click on Tools, then select Internet options. When the Internet options box opened, select connections. click on "LAN Settings" button and unchecked all the boxes (automatically detect settings, etc.) and click OK to save your settings. Exit and close the Internet Explorer. Now, open the IE again to see if that helps. Let us know what's up... Cheers!!
