I just want to know about the features and characteristics of Web Server. It works with the Domain Server or work Independently. please provide me the websites also from where I can get information about it.

I would never place a website on a Windows Server.... PERIOD. They are easily hacked. I would go with a Linux system.

Danuitti is right. All you need to know about the Windows 2003 Web server is that you probably shouldn't be using it. Windows is too insecure to be a good server OS. (Actually, it's really too insecure to be a good OS for *anything*, IMHO.)
