All of my messenger programs won't work! Windows Live Messenger comes up with error code 80048416 which isn't in their database
Xfire says: Timed out while attemting to connect to the server, because it is a 60 second time limit and if it hasn't connected to the server by then it will time out
AIM: says COnnection Timed out!
I can use web messenger but it's a really big hassle...I need some help! I have a feeling something is blocking them from accessing the internet! I've allowed them onto my firewall! Even uninstalled Norton then tried to sign in! It didnt work!

Uninstall messenger then reinstall.

First of all, you can't use NOD32 and NIS together. Two antiviruses don't work together, even if you think you have the antivirus module of NIS disabled. Second, you got waaay too much stuff running at once. But I don't think that's your problem, I think it's Norton that's screwing up your connection. Ditch NIS and use Comodo Firewall for a firewall,and NOD32 for an antivirus. Or ditch NIS and NOD32 and use Eset Smart Security. First, try killing all the processes for NIS and see if you can sign on to messenger after that.
