that should create a form from my website that sends it to my email... I am using dreamweaver and I do not understand this step, I can not find what it is telling me to find, the SSH secure shell.

where is it.. =(

it says the windows start menu.. is it not in dreamweaver? I have looked in both place... HELP!...

The final step is to make this PHP script executable, telling the server that it's a program that is to be run or executed rather than just a web page that is to be viewed. From the Windows Start Menu, locate the SSH Secure Shell. Select Secure File Transfer Client. Click Quick Connect and log on to remus.amherst.edu. Navigate to the folder containing your PHP script in the panel on the right Right-click it and select Properties. Click the box in the Owner row and the Execute column. Click OK and close the program. (Note that this is a change from what was required last year.)

That part of the instructions is telling you how to send your file to the Amherst Web server. If you don't intend to use the Amherst Web server, you can ignore this part.

Otherwise, sounds to me like you need to take this file to one of the Amherst computer clusters and use their PCs to upload the file, since they will have the program you need to upload with.

Ask one of the geeks at the cluster to help you.

The SSH program this tutorial talks about is clearly something Amherst has installed on their PCs. Windows does come with a telnet client but it doesn't work the way they describe here.
