Never got the hang of setting web & security connections up.Got

McAfee now.Had Norton which did most but decided to not renew it after getting full McAfee disc free.Need to know which

ports etc to open.If anyone can advise or give me a sight to view.

Ummm... you need anti-virus. Only people who don't have a computer, don't have the internet, and people who failed kindergarten don't use it... and people who can't spell.

Anti-virus is needed because dumb people don't use anti-virus. You see, many viruses spread because people are just dumb and don't feel like helping to stop them. It's like a person who sneezes on people on purpose. With anti-virus, they don't sneeze on other people and you get better soon.

Anyways, for a list of ports to open? You shouldn't have to open any ports unless directly recommended to do so by certain pieces of software, such as servers and Peer-2-Peer applications.

If you can't connect to certain servers, there is probably a problem beyond your ports.

all antiviruses sucks trust me.. u dont need one.

i keep teling this to people but they r stubn they dont know wot it does and how it does but they still want it just because its called antivirus..

i stoped using antivirus more then 3 years
