If you are just using HTML, it will work straight off any PC. If you want to run php, ASP, ColdFusion, or another, you'll have to install some software. If you want php to work you'll have to install Apache and PHP (both are available free). If you want to run ASP.net, you'll have to buy a Windows Server (available for a lot of money).

save your project in .htm or .html extention . open internet explorer go to file -open browse and select the home page of your project and click open. your web page would be displayed

Since you have a Yahoo account, you can freely access http://geocities.com. Where, you can upload all your html files and it can be viewed from any part of the world. Your site name will be like geocities.com/<Your Yahoo ID>
