I have an html and its components I want on the web. I have the website bought from godaddy.com. I have a hosting acct. How to get the file linked is it with a FTP?

You can get a free FTP from cnet.download. after your web pages are done and linked to each others then just send(upload) them to your web hosting account. Then type in your browser the name of your website.com and you should see it on the net.

I have a hosting act with GoDaddy also. They have a free FTP for you to use when you log in.
Once logged in, go to "hosting & servers" --> "my hosting account" --> click on "open"
In that new window go to "content" then click on "ftp client" it will open a new window and there you'll see two sides, both with files.
The left side is your local drive and the right side is your server/web site.
Find the files you want to upload on the left side, click what you want to upload then hit the arrow pointing to the right side to upload it.
That's it. Also, GoDaddy has great, 24/hr customer service so call that number on the top right of the web site and they will walk you through uploading files as well.
