I'm into hosting business, and I even sell shoutcast hosting, but a lot of clients/site vistors are ask for a test radio/shoutcast station. So i was planning to setup a test radio station/shoutcast station on my website. But I was curious to know if i need any permissions from the music company or something, I just want to host 1-2 songs so that the clients get an idea about the quality of broadcasting. A few of my friends told me that I can just buy an audio CD and if i broadcast those songs it's legal. Don't want any legal problems.
Pleae guide.

What permissions do i need to broadcast some music or songs online?
I know that you can get into a lot of trouble. If my husband were awake right now I could tell you. He is a disc jockey (radio) Maybe I will answer tommorrow. Check back.
