I have recently tried to make my own website showcasing my paintings but it was too much of a hassle. I've found someone willing to design, host, and register the domain, along with monthly updates and other goodies for $30 a month. So the first question is- is that a good price?
Second I know what I pretty much want on my website but I was wondering if you had any examples of an artist's website that caught your attention. Especially one with a statement/resume on it. I would like to look at a few to get an idea.
Thank you to everyone who answers!
Question regarding art and websites.?
Check out my web site is the best price ever because it is free. There are extra things you can pay for to make it better I only pay $10 a year for my name being the addres. It is easy to make and add new images and other things, no hassle and no complecated stuff.
Check it out http://www.piotrwolodkowicz.com
Also this web site is a template from a web based gallery so I get a lot more exposure than having one by my self.
good luck

Get on the computer, go to google and type in "Artist's Websites". You might get some ideas from there.
Question regarding art and websites.?
It is only a good price if it offers you what you need.
Designing, hosting and registering are all good things, but as an artist desireing to market your product, this falls way short of your total needs.
