For years I have been using deluxFTP to upload files to my website. They have decided to remove telnet and ftp privileges in favor of secure protocols, which I completely agree with. The problem is I cannot get it to work. I am using the exact same login, host name and password that I have used for years, which I have been told has not changed. It tells me that my host does not exist. Is there anyway to find the correct host name from my already loaded site? I really need to upload something and IT is not really helping much.
I need help with SFTP, specifically winscp?
are you connecting to the right port? 22 is the one for sftp
there could be something wrong with your settings for wiscp, try with psftp, http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtat...
if it doesn't work, mail your hosting service, maybe the problem is on their side.
