A thew years ago I heard about operating systems that where made for web serving one in particulare was for linux, I was wondering if anyone knew of any that can be used with microsoft, adobe, etc software.

Do you want a web server app that'll work on Windows?
Apache is a free pro-class web server and there is a Windows version available at http://www.apache.org
If you want to get Linux and run Windows software on it, I've heard of an emulator that'll let you do that, but I'm not sure where to find it. I don't think you'll get Microsoft software to run on anything other than Windows without an emulator though.
