This full-time person will be responsible for the upkeep and continual improvement of several Web sites on both the internet and our intranet. The ideal candidate must have the ability to create web graphics and interfaces and the skills to convert those to valid XHTML and CSS. This person will work with web vendors and internal technology staff; we are seeking a candidate who can champion good design, standards, web hierarchy and user experience. In addition, we are looking for someone with the proven ability to create and post interactive content that will keep our users engaged as we seek to communicate our mission to the public.The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of HTML, XHTML and CSS and one year web development experience. Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus. Viable candidates should already posses some knowledge of JavaScript, Flash and video editing software. Any experience with server-side scripting languages is a plus.Sal. and hour?
