i am not able to connect to an internet game, the game servers are online, contacted my ISP and they assured me that they can see your connection just fine, there is no maintenance, i can surf the web normally. i take the game software to my friend鈥檚 house, install the game, and use my account credentials and i could log in just fine. then i took my entire computer to my friend鈥檚 house, use the same account credentials, and are again able to log in just fine. when i take my computer back home, i am unable to connect. With the information above, what does this tell you about the source of the problem? What would you suspect is the issue?

Do you use a router or firewall? If so, you might need to port forward. Go to your router/firewall's support section on their website to learn more.

If so, check if any ports need to be opened for the game to work. If you find that some ports need opening, check portforward.com.

It is unlikely, yet possible that your computer's firewall (or network firewall) is blocking the internet traffic between your game. If you have one (either on your computer, your gateway or modem) see the manual on how to let traffic from your game through.
