What is wrong?
In Firefox, after entering in a url I get the following message, which is odd because internet explorer works just fine:
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
Weird problem. Internet explorer works on my computer, but after installing Mozilla Firefox, it does not work?
Ensuring Fire fox is your default browser should resolve the issue. Fire fox can be set as the default browser through
Start menu
Set program access and defaults
Custom
Chose a default browser
Fire fox
Save all changes
If you have an external firewall such as Norton Internet security, Norton 360 or Zone Alarm, you may also have to alter such applications to allow for the browser Firefox to connect to the Internet. This can normally be accessed through a pop-up menu.
