When I am at work, I am behind a firewall that filters anything that it deems to be inappropriate for work. But I can access my personal website, I figure If I could set up a proxy on my web server I can access ebay.com at work. Damn army computers ban freaking EBAY.
Is there a program or script I can use for my Windows' based web server to act as a proxy server?
There are a few programs around however it depends how your firewall blocks the content. If it is purely on website address your okay but if it just doesn't like the content of ebay you may be a bit stuck.
A simple port mapper may do the trick if not there are various free proxies around. Just make sure you restrict access carefully otherwise every fraudster on the net will home in on your server to commit crime!
