Basically, if one wishes to be on the web, I company (server;computer) has to "hold" or post the page or pages on a particular server so that the rest of world can go to a particular address (domain name) and view what is built as a web page or pages and hosted on a computer (server)

Hosting on a web page :-
When your web page/s are ready, you fill the (hoisting) server with these... now the people on the globe may watch it if they know the URL means the address
Use of host web :- Before you go in for hoisting, you hire one web server ( Co.) for this purpose and they dedicate a particular address like : www.yourname.com to make a way for your hoisting.
