Go to freespaces.com .. they have free hosting and website building tools. They offer a lot more storage and bandwith than most sites.

Depending on what you want to do, you might try a blogging service - I really enjoy TypePad because it's so easy to use. The instructions will walk you right through setting up your blog/site, and they add features all the time.

First, get a host. I use Yahoo Small Business. Then create a website.

you can create a web page through an html editor, basically you put your text and stuff through the html editor into the web page. you save it as your index file and create other files linked to it (like about , contact info, etc, the other pages of your website)

then to host, > http://www.interkeys.com/tophosts you just upload your html files with images into the images folder
