I'm having a web site developed for a vacation rental web site. The work will be done in India. I plan to host on Godaddy.com, which has a merchant account section. I'm also thinking about using Quicken's online software for the business accounting (Intuit, Quickin, has online mechant account capabilities through godaddy. They supposedly all work together to save double keying on your books.
What's the best way for me to have the web site built and then link to merchant account?
My question, if you can understand my rambling techno-stuff that I don't quite understand: In general details, who does what, where, and when to build the site? Is this something I turn completely over to the webmaster in India and let them do everything or should I outsource the merchant account configurations to a local webmaster and let him/her do the actual linking together?
Thanks and hope this wasn't too confusing.
What are the steps involved in setting up a merchant account?
I would have the person who has intimate knowledge of the design and function of your site to implement the shopping cart and gateway (these are what link to your merchant account). For more information, please check out www.ballisticmerchantservices.com
