I'm trying to upload an update to a couple of web pages.I connect to my web host with no problems but when I try to put the files online the blue connector symbol breaks and won't transfer the file up.The connection appears to be still there and live when I go back into manage sites ,it just won't 'put' the files.I've never had this before.Anyone know what's wrong.
Thank You
Dreamweaver help please.?
This happened to me my first time trying to connect to my sites sever - You are not properly connected.
Here is what you do - (using the FTP information provided by your host)
Go to site - click on "new site" after entering your site name hit the next button
-on the nest page leave everything as is hit next
-on this page you are going to dedicate a folder for your home files. after this you will be done setting up your local files. click ok.
Go back and then set up your ftp in the same manor. you should be good to go.

Which version are you using? Dreamweaver 8 has a nasty habit of forgetting your passwords for uploading to your remote server. Go back into manage sites and check that your user name and password is still there.
If not, are you using a wireless connection? Maybe it's a bit unstable. Go closer to your hub or plug it it.
