I simply created a stock page using one of the templates on my mac using iWeb. I tested it localy on my machine and it works great. However, when I ftp it and try to load it from my geocities page I get the following error:
HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden Date: Wed, 09 May 2007 00:41:24 GMT P3P: policyref="http://p3p.yahoo.com/w3c/p3p.... 403 Forbidden
Any ideas what may be the issue? Has anyone experienced this before?
Many thanks.
I am getting 403 error when trying to load a web page desing with iweb on my geocities account. Any ideas?
403 forbidden is a catch all for 'you are not permitted to go there' it could be a lot of different things.
I've built a few sites with iWeb. But without the URL, it's really tough to give any advice.
Where is the site? http://www.geocities.com/what???
UPDATE:
I went to the site, and got the page, it says 403... but not a real 403 it just says 403, because that's what's in the html file!!!
