I am starting an oline dating business, i dont have a lot of money to spend on the site development or design. can anybody suggest something? all the ones i contacted are charging over $500.I have a domain name with yahoo but i realised the online dating site is tricky to build with the web tools i got with them.Any form of help will be appreciated. thanks

I'm afraid you'll need some professional programming expertise to have something like an online dating site built. That means either:

1. you find a programmer/designer who is willing to do the job for less money than an equivalent amount of time serving at the cash at McDonald's

2. find a very charitable programmer friend or life partner who'll do it for nothing (or next to nothing) as a gesture of good will and fellowship

3. learn to do the programming yourself

That kind of project really deserves a monetary investment that you're probably not going to be able to afford, so I suggest you pick up some books or take some classes and build some skills in this domain. The upside is that if you're successful, you can in turn take those skills and turn it into a stream of income for yourself and charge people for your services. I wish there was an easier, cheaper way, but nothing beats educating yourself and controlling your own destiny.
