I am starting up an online payment processing company like PayPal. I wanna know which option to go with. Dedicated or Shared hosting? Do i go for Dedicated Server or Shared hosting?
They both seem equal though fasthost actually gives speeds. & fasthost seems to offer more in the way of security. Which is a serious concern if you are offering a payment processing services... who has access to those servers? & how is security applied? ect.
I'd also probably go for a dedicated server just so I wouldn't have to deal with any of the issues associated with shared resources which if any brought down the server or slowed response times affects your business.

A good dedicated server is more expensive.
Shared hosting can be slow if others are taking the bandwidth.
It's up to you but if a site is going to VERY busy then shared hosting is out of the question.
