When will PHP be upgraded for hosting? I host my website on Yahoo. I plan on doing lots of scripting that generates XML data and PHP scripting is quite different between versions 4 & 5. I am not thrilled with writing two sets of code.

You can write nice code in PHP4 that works well in PHP5. The PHP version won't be updated too soon on Yahoo or other companies because your site is not the only one on the server and every site has to go through significant changes to shift to PHP5.
Officially PHP4's end of life was announced in august and the development team doesn't improve or resolve bugs anymore.
