As stated, I am searching for a shopping cart script that allows both automatic monthly re-ordering and one time orders. This is beneficial since our customers frequently order the same thing month after month and it would be nice if they didn't have to do it manually. The cart needs to support authorize.net gateway.

We prefer software based carts that can be placed on our server, but may consider a hosted solution if there is no software based solution available at a reasonable cost.

We are willing to pay for the software, but cannot afford high end $1000+ software. We prefer a PHP or PERL solution that will run on our existing linux web host. Again as a last resort we would consider somthing that runs on a windows server / asp.net or similar technology.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. There is so much out there it's hard to sort through the options without any first hand experience with automatic reordering.

Well, I can do it using Java-JSP-STRUTS. U shall be able to run it on both Linux and Windows. U need Apache-Tomcat Servelet container at your host to run it. Tomcat is Free. If u like that u may mail me along with ur mail ID. We can discuss the specs, charges and other terms and conditions.

I've worked with several PHP-based open-source projects like osCommerce and ZenCart, but by far prefer Drupal and it's eCommerce add-in modules. It will do exactly what you describe, and has Authorize.net support built-in...
