Hey, I am a beginner creating websites and owning one but i wanted to own one so i bought from a great host HostMonster, and i got a free domain with it couse i chose the 12 month plan, and i'm happy with that website and everything is going great but now i want to do some stuff with php, I want to test some stuff so I would like a free domain name, I have a host and it hosts unlimited domains, so is there any website that gives free domains that would work with a host like www.hostmonster.com and www.bluehost.com, theese hosts are identical from the same company but i'm just asking if there is anywhere where i can get a free domain, it doesn't have to be great it might be, mywebsite.thedomainprovider.com, or something if that works with a host like hostmonster. Try DynDNS - they will offer your choice of subdomain names on their own domains, for free, expecting a dynamic IP address.
But, there is nothing to stop you from using the static IP of your webhost.
That should get you what you need, as long as you're not picky about the root domain...
