I'm using dreamweaver, php and mysql. My host server puts dashes into my database names that I cannot change or remove... Dreamweaver can't seem to use those databases - I can build the connection and it tests fine... but, under server behaviours, it cannot find the tables and says I should test my connection...

what should I do! Please help.

No you can't use dashes. I just tried it from the command line (windows) and it gave an error.

Also, ensure it's not an underscore (_) instead of a dash (-), sometimes they look the same at a quick glance.
