Look for web hosting forums on google; there are plenty and you can get some good advice from webmasters there.
34sp.com is quite cheap for a UK hosting company. But it all depends on what part of the world you are in, and waht features you want from your webhost.

I hosted my website on clustered failover server at 111hosting.com, it's very reliable and they have good support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week .
I was told clustered failover server can make your website load faster, and much more reliable. I found my websites have better uptime in their server than the former hosting company.I have no idea if it loads faster or not, but better uptime, for sure.
