Ok first you'll need a host. Try www.byethost.com (lots of space and features and its ad free) then you open the ftp server and copy and paster.

You do need webhosting, but you will have to pay if you don't want adverts on it.
HAve asearch on Google for webhosts, depending on what country you are in and what size hosting you require you can pay as little as $20 -$30 Australian Dollars a year.
To upload, get a free program somthing like Smart FTP (just search for SmartFTP on google and you'll find a download link)
