i need space and bandwich i have seached the web and came up empty.......Also what is the difference in Linux hosting and windows hosting? does that mean the OS I'm running? Please explain

for this kind of space requirement and speed requirement, i recommend you just get your own server.
you can rent a "dedicated" server from many providers. essentially, they own the hardware and are responsible for maintenance, you own the rights to do whatever you want with it. unlike a "co-located" server that actually belongs to you and you bring it to the ISP and install it on their network. it is really the way to go.
as far as Linux hosting and Windows hosting, you are correct. it refers to the OS that the server is running. with a dedicated server, you can pick almost any OS you want. just pick one that will run whatever you are planning to put on it. i write asp.net applications so i prefer to run on Windows. i have had zero problems running Windows. you don't need to buy the hype that Linux is more reliable. it very well may be true, but administering Linux is like having root canal.
