When I tried to open my WebApplication it shows the following error.

Visual Studio.Net has detected that the specified Web server is not running ASP.Net version 1.1.You will be unable to

run ASP.Net Web applications or services

What should I do?

I don't have any CD's of .Net and IIS.If I want to reinstall, from where did I get it free?

I am fairly certain you can download the files for free from the Microsoft website..

if you get 2 choices express or custom choose custom

if youve never been to this site before it will make you install a few things 1st then reboot

then when you come back to this site you will get those 2 choices

after chosing custom it will do check for the available updates for your pc

when the scan is complete on the left side you will see select type choose software then you will see .net 1.1 choose that and your pc will guide you through the rest
