IIS on WinXP Home Edition?
You should not be able to run IIS on XP Home. It is one of the reasons to choose Pro over Home.
This is why you are having the problem.
IIS on WinXP Home Edition?
what adjustments did you make to your OS? Have you tried setting up IIS with the installation disc?
IIS on WinXP Home Edition?
Home is not the right OS for using IIS. Instal win2000 and run the IIS. The only pb is you cant have more then 6 connections and then your server will go down but for some trying experience it is easy to manage and you will learn a lot. by the way look in your proccess box. I think your IIS is already running cos if you install the IIS it is by default runnning with homepage "under construction". Try to publish your own homepage in IIS.
