I am using .net 2003. When i open a New Project and select C# and ASP.net web application it shows a error message.
"Visual Studio.Net has detected that the specied Web server is not running ASP.NET version 1.1.You will be unable to run ASP.Net Web Applications or Services."
What the error mean? I have installed IIS and it is working well.Please help me to fix the error .

It doesn't sound like you have ASP.NET 1.1 installed on the IIS server. If you're sure it's there, I'd suggest going to Microsoft.com and re-installing it.

u need to check and see if asp.net is installed on the machine. If not go to add remove programs and installe it. Then u will need to enable it in IIS.
