I am not able to open my saved project nor i am able to create a new project. Whenever I try to run a program an ERROR is shown:

"Visual Studio cannot create or open the application because the Web server on this computer is not running. Start the Web server before proceeding."

My IIS and running fine but it doesn't show the websites lists.

I have re-installed my XP and MS-Visual Studio 2003 also but it won't work.

Help me out.........

So are you sure that you IIS is runing?

You could try an IISReset --> Run --> Cmd --> "IISRESET"

once you do that, of you still can't open a project using VS, try acutally going to the local version of the website on your box.

Ie. http:\\Localhost\....
