I've tried Yahoo! Photos and Flickr. I like Flickr but it's basic service is lacking. I like Yahoo!'s unlimited storage but it's interface is weak. Anyone have any other recommendations? And it has to be free!!! :)

In my opinion, one of the best photo sites out there is myphotoalbum (www.myphotoalbum.com)

You can create a free account and host an unlimited number of images on it. Also, you can control access by limiting who can download your images and it even gives you the option of providing full-res images to your friends (and yourself). You get a personalized URL as well.

You get what you pay for. Every free site has severe limitations, even if they say it's "unlimited".

The biggest problem I have with them is that you can't control the resolution. If you post a picture and then try to get it back, it's almost always smaller or with more compression or lower resolution.

That wasn't acceptable to me. So after trying just about every "free" site out there, I gave up on all of them and paid to have an account at www.smugmug.com. It's the best money I've ever spent. Well worth it.
