They're coming in a week, so is there anything I should be aware of? I'm doing my best to enlighten myself about their culture, and have learned a bit of German. :]
Good things to know if your hosting German teenagers?
I hosted a German teenage girl. She was very sweet and polite and spoke great English. One thing you should do (though they probably won't ask for it) is stock your house with good, bakery bread. Every European/German I've ever met hated American white bread (like Wonder) and missed their own bread while in the US.
Also, try to bring them to see and do as many things as possible. My girl loved trying new foods, so we gave some American food they just don't have, such as peanut butter, crabs, etc. Be sure to take them to some normal clothing stores - they are likely to be amazed and happy at how "cheap" blue jeans are compared to in Germany.
Have a great time!

I've hosted 2. They are cool... but they live differently. You need to get used to them bashing your way of life. (wasting energy) both mine did. And they made fun of the amount of fat people in the states. and the portion sizes, and even the way we dress. They really have balls, you need to kick them in it.
