My order of preference is as above. Well each email account has its own advantages. e.g. AOL comes with 5 GB online free file storage, Gmail has a feature that enables you to view different emails from the same person that saves eye strain. Yahoo is a little backward, but you need the account for its myriad services like web site hosting, Yahoo Answers of course. MSN and Hotmail purely sucks.

I personally use yahoo cause it's user friendly and i like the format, gmail is cool cause it can let you chat w/ friends when they are on right away, don't like 3/4 because they aren't very user friendly in my opinion, and i hate thier layout, and i don't really know any other ones besides that.

The first 2 are great because they are the most common and so pretty much anyone who chats has one of them, 3/4 are ok but not to many ppl use it compared to the first 2, never heard of skype and i personally wouldn't really trust any other ones cause they are small names. I use trillionater (sp?) personally cause i can use it to access all my aim and msn accounts.
