everything went bad and you had a big fight and stopped speaking. You send an email asking to resurrect the friendship.
the next day you get an emailed invitation to a showing of art hosted by the person you fell for: there is no personal message - just the graphics ofthe emailed invitation.
What is your reaction?
Do you go to the art showing?
Are they just hoping you'll buy something?
Is it an olive branch?
Would you attend?
How would you act and what would you say?

I hold a grudge for a long time, but I also don't like to burn bridges. I'd go if I really liked the person, but only if I really miss the time I spent with them. If not, I'd stay at home.

An invitation is an invitation...I'd go for it. However, I'd keep my expectations low. Just say hi and praise the artwork. If anything else is to come of the experience, it will, but will take time.
