My "ProShow Gold" slide show program will not email my shows untill I can configure it properly. What is my "SMTP" address? And does Yahoo require a POP3? Before my "Gold" program can send emails it requires this info. I am using yahoo.com and Cox Cable. When I try to send an email I get a pop-up from the proshow gold program that says: "Unable to connect to the mail (smtp) host. The connection took to long or was refused by the server. Some mail (smtp) servers require a POP3 login. Make sure yuour POP3 configuration is correct in the Preferences". Please advise!!!! I can send and recieve other email without any of these problems. I believe my "smtp" is (smtp.mail.yahoo.com ) Switching around the words "mail" and "smtp" doen't seem to help. How do I find if a PoP3 server is repuired, and what is its title?

If you use a free yahoo account you do not have pop3 access. you would need to upgrade to a mail plus account to have pop3 access. which you can do by logging into your yahoo mail and clicking on the mail upgrades link in the upper right corner. after you upgrade and have the pop3 access you can configure your program using your yahoo account.
incoming mail server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
outgoing mail server. smtp.mail.yahoo.com
yahoo mail requires authentication so you will need to enable this in your program. be sure to enable the outgoing server to use the same authentication info as the incoming server as well.
