In the past couple of days, I get an error message of the type:
Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.
<----------@hotmail.com>:
Remote host said: 550 Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. A block has been placed against your IP address because we have received complaints concerning mail coming from that IP address. We recommend enrolling in our Junk E-Mail Reporting Program (JMRP
Does this mean that some spammer got my address book and is sending out spam using my email?
When I got the failure notice yesterday, I resent and the message went through the second time. Today, the same thing happened. It failed the first time (same address), then went through the second. This is my boyfriend's email, so it's kind of annoying that I can't always know if my emails or getting to him or not.
My second question is with the junk reporting program. Will this 1. take care of the problem and 2. cost me?
Thanks,

Unable to deliver: because of block?
It's not very satisfying, but after really looking HARD for the answer, I found information at the MSN site...

Personally, if I had a hotmail account I'd be mad that my service provider was filtering out so much of my mail...obviously things that I want to get.
Microsoft has all this baloney on their website about protecting their users and not punishing "real" email senders. Well obviously it's not true. They expect me to spend the next 2 hours figuring out how to get their system to accept my emails?
It's ridiculous and hotmail users shouldn't be putting up with it.
JMHO.
Unable to deliver: because of block?
Just thought I"d add a link going a little more in detail about this whole thing. It's crazy.
