Just recently (i.e. over the last few days), messages I have sent to friends who are on MSN or Hotmail are being bounced with the message "Remote host said: 550 Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. A block has been placed against your IP address because we have received complaints concerning mail coming from that IP address."
I don't send spam, these are people who I have sent mail to for weeks or years, even, and they do want to receive the email.
I've looked on the Microsoft site and haven't found anything really applicable to my problem. Can anybody help?
Thanks as always.
Alan
MSN and HotMail are bouncing messages I send to people from my Yahoo.co.uk account. Why?
I am not sure if this applies to your problem, but check it out.

it appears someone has reported your IP address...you will have to get with tech support for microsoft to clear that up...your friends may have done it by mistake...have them check and see if they have your address in their blocked address file...

I have been having trouble with email too. Don't feel bad it isn't just you. there are screwy things going on the internet these days. Maybe you should complain and try to use another email if you have one.
