"are these you pics? "www.imhost.com...etc... " along those lines. i downloaded this file. it is a ms doc file. i know it was the wrong thing to do. but it had my email on it. it sprang up allll my onine buddies and gave em the same messages. i ran avg anti virus through but that couldnt delete the virud host.
it was located in the c:\WINDOWS\drivers\etc\hosts. HOW DO I DEL THIS. i have just uninstalled msn messenger that did not hellp. can i download it again safely? help!

If you know exactly where it is, I would suggest using HijackThis. I've included a link to it in my sources. And don't worry about the virus - happens to the best of us. ;)
