So basically, I'm going to be the student webmaster kind of, for my school's web site. I'll be looking after the site and whatnot... a little "shoutbox"... but!

I need to make a mailing list, and we will be sending out the school newsletters via email to the people who sign up.

I would like the kind of thing where you enter your email address, and then you'll be sent the newsletter.

Like a field saying "Your Email" then a button saying "Subscribe to the newsletter!"

I hope I'm communicating what I need clearly... if not please let me know and I'll clarify.

I can have a rogers, or if I need to, hotmail account.

Do I need a server-side host or whatever? I'm not too sure how to begin this so any help is appreciated.

Oh, and I seriously doubt the school will give any money.... so free = the best! :D

Are you saying that you need a button for people to subscribe to a newsletter? Do you want the button on a webpage, or within an email? If you have a webpage there are many ways that it can be done.
