I'm really getting annoyed with yahoo. I get loads 'failure to deliver' messages, and not just one email, most emails have to be sent a dozen times before it might get through. Most annoying!!! (I have changed email addres for privacy purposes). This is what it says:
Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.
<xyz@xyz.com>:
Remote host said: 550 Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. A block has been placed against your IP address because we have received complaints concerning mail coming from that IP address. We recommend enrolling in our Junk E-Mail Reporting Program (JMRP
What garbage is that? And not just to hotmail contacts but also to yahoo and other contacts.
Failure to deliver?
I've been getting exactly the same problem with sending to Hotmail accounts and judging by the number of questions on here we're not alone.
My ISP is BT. As with most connections the IP is dynamic meaning that every time you sign on and off you are assigned a new IP address. However it seems it is the IP address of the mail server that is being refused. I've tried to contact Hotmail but the response wasn't that helpful as it required Yahoo to contact them!
Hello,
We are very sorry for the difficulty that you are experiencing, and we wish that we were able to resolve this issue based on the information you have provided. In order to address this issue, we will need to hear from the mail administrators of the yahoo.co.uk mail servers as only they are able to properly assist in our investigation into this.
