As a heads up, if you want to setup imap for aol you have to make sure you have all the server paths and same goes for hotmail (http) or yahoo (pop3).
Outlook works well with these programs which some business have adapted to because of its complexity. However, for home users, these services might come at an expense so for instance if you want to setup a pop3 mail account for yahoo through outlook, you will have to sign up for their premium account which i believe is 19/yr and the same goes for hotmail. So make sure you find out before hand. Good Luck.

I can use outlook to download all my MSN/hotmail emails as it will allow HTTP but I am not sure if it would allow AOL as I dont know anything about AOL.
