I've never uploaded on youtube before but i tried today.
because there's an episode from a cartoon series that i really want to post. But I'm afraid of copy infringement, and I'm somewhat confused.
can i still post the episode.... well from what i understand only if I get permission, but permission from who the creator of the series, the producers or the host of the site from whom I'm taking the actual video from, and do i send an email to ask if it's okay.. or what exactly do i do to get ''proper permission'?
any help would be great, thanks
Copy infringement on youtube?
Somewhere in there, there's probably a little 'Copyright 2006 <some company here>" - that will likely be the creator, the producers, the site, or a company one of them has hired to manage the copyrights (the details will vary based on the business deal that got the cartoon created). That's wo you need to contact and get permission.
Copy infringement on youtube?
If I were you I wouldn't post it on YouTube, or you could always create another account, and upload it to that account. You only get three strikes, once they warn you a third time to stop posting copyright material on YouTube they will delete your account.
