My senior system admin says that I have to make all client to the member of our WINDOWS 2000/3000 server.
when they join.. i can't recognise them in the the network neighbour hood with individual work-group name.. they all will come under one group...
I feel not-joining domain is better.
What is the advantage of joining domain server?
Its true all the clients come under one domain name.With domain server the basic advantage is centralized administration of users who work in organization.
I am sure Will be excited to join your client computers,if you go thru help on your windows 2000/2003 server, have look at help or Microsoft windows 2000/2003 administration guide before you make decision.
