http://www.anthemseniorliving.com was recently launched, and i'm looking for good suggestions to increase traffic. also, i have about 10 other domain names that have a forward to my main one. is that suggested? or should i have a landing page on each on with a timeout?

google adwords is pretty cool (and free to sign up), you put ads on sites/search pages and pay only when peeps click on the ads (that lead to your site), and you can set the max price per click. depending on the popularity of your keywords you'll get hits in no time.
another good way is to go to relevant forums, and use the link as your signature, or maybe even start a discussion about it, for feedback. just be sure to take part in the forum, don't be a spammy troll.
wikipedia, of course is a goldmine if you can get a link from them, but they're pretty anal about links but it may be worth a shot, at worst they'll remove it...
i'd also suggest google analytics (or some form of traffic analysis) to monitor traffic, it will tell you where your hits are coming from.
another fun thing is to use a text-based web browser (like lynx for unix) and see what your page looks like, this is more or less what the google bot (and all bots) will 'look like' to them. (for example flash based sites are not bot-friendly)
