I want the internet address as www.example.com, not as www.nameofthecompany.com/example!!! I need help to all who have expeirence with this things!!!!!

DOT TK offers free domain hosting. It isn't a .com address instead it is .tk for example say your site was www.geocities.com/user, when you register with Dot TK you type in that URL. if the domain is available you will get a .tk address like www.example.tk....you can then access the website by typing in example.tk or typing in the whole elongated form of geocities.com/user. Want a free dotcom domain name? Join the contest in the internet that offered free domain name. There's a few. BUT the domain name will be yours one year only, after that, you have to buy it.

Free hosting? There's a lot, you have to try and pick which is the better. Keep in mind about FTP support, server side support etc...

You should really just register a domain. It costs less than $10 for a year.
