I'm shocked at how much spam Yahoo allows without doing anything about it. I've got my blocked addresses totally filled with domain names but I still get hundreds of spam emails everyday, more on the weekends than during the week. Why does Yahoo allow this?
Has anyone found a spam filter that actually works for regular Yahoo email accounts?
most spam is sent using unique emails so blocking them is a waste of time - the articles in the link below cover a variety of spam issues of which some may help you understand and cope with the problem based on your own needs.

I cant tell you why it happens but i originated a trick which worked like wonders. Put a auto reply (vacation mesasge) in your yahoo mail with maximum validity.
I have typed this for myself
"If you are a SPAMMER, you are eligible for a lawsuit. for more details
go to http://docs.yahoo.com/docs/pr/release118...
Spammers will be taken to court for litigation."
Everytime any mail or some spam comes, this messages goes back to its email inbox to scare them.
Belive me, i get only 3-4 spam messages a week now compared to 250-300 messages earlier.
Try this.. and get back to me if it works
i am available at deepakgd@msn.com
